By sponsoring an internship, you're giving someone the chance to shine and to prove their abilities in a real-world setting. On average, a three-month internship costs £4,000. Demonstrating our Social Value
In 2024, the Jersey Employment Trust demonstrated significant economic and social impact, generating an estimated £1.70 of economic value for every £1 spent. Overall, the charity created approximately £7 million in economic value and £10.3 million in social value, resulting in a total net value of £15 million.
The figures highlight the substantial return on investment delivered through our supporting people with disabilities and long-term health conditions to access employment and training opportunities. The calculations were produced through the Jersey Community Foundation, Social Care & Wellbeing Charities Impact Accelerator Programme.
JET's impact is not just about numbers; it's about creating lasting, positive change for people and the Island as a whole.

A Gift in your Will
Would you like to support our work into the future? All donations are reinvested into helping people with a disability or long-term health condition. We hope that once you have provided for your nearest and dearest, you will consider leaving a gift to us. Anyone can leave a gift in their will and every gift, large or small, is very important to us.
It might be:
- Part or all of your estate.
- A specified cash sum which can be index-linked to safeguard its value.
- An item, such as property or a piece of jewellery, to be used or sold by us.
Please note that making a will should be done with the guidance of a lawyer.
Are you a Jersey Taxpayer?
If you are donating £50 or more and you are a Jersey taxpayer, we can claim an additional 25p for every £1 you donate. All you have to do is complete a lump sum donation form and return it to us.
