JET Ambassadors

Hayley Routier, founder of Dancing In Jersey

In a previous role, I had the privilege of supporting JET and collaborating with Dean and the team. Since then, I have stayed connected by keeping in touch with various team members and following the charity’s latest developments.

Wanting to support JET in an 'official' capacity again, I was thrilled to be asked to become an Ambassador. It is a profound honour to contribute to Dean's legacy, as well as to continue the Routier family tradition of supporting JET. My father-in-law, Paul, was a former trustee and has been a passionate advocate for individuals with learning disabilities since my brother-in-law Simon, who has Down's Syndrome, was born in 1977. I am excited to further play my part in championing this incredible organisation and its mission.

I first met Dean in 2021, and we worked very closely together to create more digital opportunities for JET's clients, something I will always be very proud of. We connected instantly, bonding over our shared love of swing music. I always enjoyed seeing him perform, just as he loved seeing me dance. I am truly honoured to have called Dean my friend. His zest for life, dedication to making a difference, and warm spirit will always leave a lasting impression on me.
