We are currently recruiting for the following part time position.  Based at our busy Acorn site in Trinity, you will be working alongside a great team of people and supporting our busy collections and deliveries department. 

Reuse Administrator - Acorn

We are looking for a part time administrator to support our busy Acorn Reuse team.  You will be working at our Acorn site, Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 12:30pm and will be responsible for admin in the following areas: 

• Collections and Deliveries 

• Placing orders for the site  

• Ensuring vehicle checks are carried out and recorded 

• Health & Safety 

• Customer phone & email enquiries

Saturday Shop Floor Assistant

We are looking for someone who loves keeping things neat and tidy and has great customer service skills to work on our shop floor.  The role involves:

• Tidying the shop floor, putting clothes & other items back on the rails/shelves after the customers have dropped them on the floor.
• Putting items back from the changing room rail that customers don’t want to buy.
• Observing customers/being a presence on the shop floor to prevent shop lifting.
• Advising and helping customers to find things in the Reuse shop. 
• Collecting the wheelie bin of hangers from the till area on a regular basis.
• Sweeping/hoovering the floor after closing time. 
• Re-stocking the clothing rails and shop floor shelves as required. 

It is a physical role, you will be on your feet for the majority of the shift.   

Other skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills/ability to deal with difficult customers

Ability to work independently and use initiative.

The contract will be for every Saturday, 10am - 4pm with a 30 minute break. 

£11.87 per hours plus 6% holiday pay

Reuse Assistant (Clothing)

Do you have a passion for fashion?  If so, we are looking for staff to work in our busy Reuse Clothing department.  Tasks include:

• Processing incoming donations of clothing, shoes and accessories
• To oversee the clothing area of the shop floor and ensure a good range of clothing is available.
• Take responsibility for making decisions on whether clothing is appropriate for sale.
• Advising and helping customers to find things in the clothing section.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy.
• Create a positive atmosphere for clients and volunteers working in the clothing area.  

Hours between 9:15am - 4:15pm, Monday - Saturday.  

This role is suitable for a job share and hours within the above can be negotiation.

This is a permanent contract and the salary is £12.34 per hour.
