Volunteer with Acorn Enterprises - be part of something life changing

We are not currently taking on general volunteers for our Acorn site, but would be happy hear from potential volunteers with carpentry and/or general maintenance skills and experience.

At Acorn Enterprises, volunteers are essential to our mission of providing meaningful employment and training opportunities for people with disabilities and long-term health conditions. As Jersey’s largest social enterprise, we operate vibrant community hubs including Acorn Reuse, the Woodshack, and our Plant Nursery—all powered by purpose and people.

Volunteers bring energy, compassion, and diverse skills that help us thrive. Whether you're helping sort donations, supporting our upcycling projects, assisting in the nursery, or simply lending a hand to keep our site well maintained, your time directly contributes to creating inclusive opportunities and reducing environmental waste. Every role helps us reuse, repurpose, and reinvest in our community.

By volunteering with Acorn, you’re not just giving your time—you’re helping someone gain confidence, learn new skills, and take steps toward independence. You’ll be part of a team that grows together and makes a real difference every day.
